The insights for and from this piece of work were inspired by the tactility and forms of these pebble stones as well as the journey they have been through, scoured by the sand and worn by the wind and the waves. Their travels recall for me the travails that we too face as fellow earth beings.

 

When I touch these stones I do not only sense their surroundings, the moisture of the mists and the heat of the sun, I also understand and appreciate that they too play a role in the cycle of life on our It was beautiful. It inspired. It was Nature ‘s treasure. It was hidden. It is a revelation. It became my muse. It instigated my creativity. Right there. Right then. I created this. But I left it there upon the open beach, complimenting Nature’s pleasure.
